Over on Subpopulated I found the art of Andrew Devlin. Some of you may know his art from the front of his hand made t-shirts under the name "Bi-Polar Wear". Andrew's process of making art is one of my favorite things that an artist can do. It's all DIY and every element used in the art is mused over thought, rethought, revised, destroyed, reassembled, reinserted before it ever becomes a valid creation. Andrew, like many good artists I know, often digs some of his better ideas back out of the trash can that he threw those ideas away in weeks/months/years earlier.
There is something to say about an honest art in an honest craft. Above is some of his artwork as he posted on Subpopulated. Enjoy. And Support him by buying his t-shirts when you see him out and about at a show.
