Let be known that the Colour Revolt will be in Cleveland this November. They are one of a few bands these days that still puts their emotions into their strings. There's not show boating. No indie fashion statements. Just good old fashioned rock and roll. They hearken to an era of music that changed how I saw the world and that was the post Nirvana age. A time when music was a lot less fattening, a little more honest and entirely fractured with unapologetic mistakes and rough edges that were a direct result of how much was put into each downward stroke of the guitar. The Colour Revolt remind of that same emotion, but with control that Radiohead might exhibit during one of their overly wrought with passion performances. I still say that Colour Revolt is one of the best bands in America right now. Go see them and feel why.
