Originally starting as the the Campfire Kids years ago, Caleb Grahm has developed this idea with his other musical cohorts into something much more adult. I think it was 2003 that I bore witness to Caleb in a small performance of the Campfire Kids. I don't recall the ensemble that assisted him, but I do recall the construction paper headband and Indian feather that he donned as well as a vest, if I am not mistaken, for this particular show. This showing was in the deep back woods of Ohio near a small town called Columbiana. The music he made then s reminiscent of now, but instead of the shaky and randomness of his younger days it's a much more focused musical vision. I believe the talent that comes just minutes south of Youngstown is often overlooked for it's sheer genius. Caleb has two older brothers who dabble in the obscurity of America's musical heritage. Both his older brothers Josh and Jacob back the California based touring act Joy Electric for various outtings with no regular frequency with exceptions of small tours. Jacob also has his own myriad of projects that doth enchant. You should check them out, especially his radio formatted show The March of Time.
Currently the Bonfire Kids reside in Florida, probably because we've all overlooked them.
Make sure you don't over look these other Columbiana residents, Third Class.
